Seven deadly sins shown through a fashion show

Exploring seven deadly sins - envy, gluttony, greed or avarice, lust, pride, sloth,and wrath - and how each of these dominates us today -- when the man is too materialistic and self-consumed --- students from seven different colleges put up a fashion show hosted by Armed Forces Medical College, Pune at their campus, last week.

As a part of their annual college fest Silhouettes, the fashion show, Panache, saw participation of students from AFMC (Pune), Army Law College (Pune), Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore), Ramaiah Institute of Technology (Bengaluru), Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital And Medical College (Mumbai), INHS Asvini College of Nursing (Mumbai), and Dr D.

Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, who showcased their collections depicting the seven deadly sins through several colours, textures, and silhouettes on the ramp.
Each college was allowed to pick more than one sin and while envy remained the most preferred and most relatable theme, most colleges went ahead with all seven sins which were showcased through their collection.
The colleges were judged on the basis of designs, walk, pose, attitude etc were Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre bagged the first prize. While Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru stood second, Army Law College was at the third position.
