The Royal Thai Consulate hosts gala for Thailand’s National Day


The Royal Thai Consulate in Kolkata hosted a dinner reception at a city venue in Kolkata to commemorate the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and the birth anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on December 4. This day is also celebrated as Thailand’s Father’s Day. “In the last 10 months of my presence in Kolkata, we have been fully committed to enhance India-Thailand ties with focus on the eastern states,” said Siriporn Tantipanyathep, the Consul General of Thailand in Kolkata, as she raised a toast with chief guest Nandini Chakravorty, state home secretary, West Bengal.
