Shoot of a popular film sequel begins on auspicious occasion of Poila Boishakh
A new chapter unfolds as Bohurupi: The Golden Daku begins shoot on Poila Boishakh under Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s assistance, along with stars Jisshu U Sengupta, Koushani Mukherjee and Pradeep Bhattacharya. The first shot reportedly began with Jisshu leading the scene, marking a beginning to the film.
Nandita Roy expressed her happiness about starting the project on such an auspicious day, emphasising that good beginnings set a positive tone. Notably, the film will introduce a fresh pair of actors, including Sohini Sarkar who will star opposite Jisshu. Shiboprosad Mukherjee took to his Instagram handle to reveal their reunion after working in ads together.
The plot, penned by Nandita and Shiboprosad, revolves around multiple robberies and a quest for hidden gold. This project is special for them as this isn’t just another film, it's a part of a franchise. Fans have also been given hopes to look forward to surprises in the soundtrack, with songs featuring artistes like Anupam Roy, Arnab Dutta, Noni Chora Das Baul, Bonnie Chakraborty.
