The penetration of multiplexes in smaller towns in the past five years has made it a winning proposition for the Gujarati film producers. After extensively promoting the films in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot, these tier 3 cities like Nadiad, Mehsana, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Bhavnagar, Palanpur and Himmatnagar are now promotional hubs for Gujarati films.
