At a time when the entire world is fighting the same battle against
coronavirus, it is also every individual’s responsibility to ensure they play their part by adhering to the directives given by the government. And one of the most basic precautionary measures we all can take is wear a mask whenever we step outside. In sync with the global situation, The Times of India is running a campaign - Mask India that aims at promoting awareness about the importance of wearing a mask and why it is important to wear cloth masks or those made at home.
And filmmaker
Mikhil Musale, who endorses the same view urges people to take part in this global movement and wear cloth masks while stepping out. He says, “It is our responsibility as citizens to be careful and practice all precautions so that we don’t become carriers. To be safe, it is necessary that we wear cloth made masks as surgical and N95 masks are especially made for medicos and those working in the healthcare industry. So, we should use home made or cloth masks available in the market so that there is no shortage of masks to be used by healthcare professionals.”
