When Amitabh Bachchan said 'Lapet'

Recently the entire Ahmedabad lit up when they saw their idol and one of the most loved superstars Amitabh Bachchan amongst them flying kites on the eve of Uttarayan and sharing about his earliest and fondest memories of the festival.
'I started flying kites at a very young age. At that time we had a limited pocket money, so apart from buying kites from our pocket money we used to gather kites from varied sources like the ones that were there on the next terrace or the kites which got cut and fell on our terrace and so on.Be it tying the kiniya the night before kite flying fest to petty fights with friends to sharing the same kite with them we all had one helluva time.'
