A theatre workshop on the cards at Darpana Academy of Performing Arts

Vadodara based theatre personality Jay Merchant, who has directed several plays and worked extensively with young theatre enthusiasts in the state, will be conducting an experimental theatre workshop at the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts from May 7 to May 19. Jay, who has also worked with Sanjana Kapoor in the past, shares, “I will be working with kids belonging to the 6 to 15 years age-group, as well as those who are 16 years old and above.Among other things, the focus will be on developing communication skills, making them lose their inhibitions, developing life skills, building confidence and teaching them how to be comfortable with their own body. I have always enjoyed working with young kids and I am excited about this opportunity.”
