Gandhinagar’s theatre group to perform at Thespo 2014

Thespo -- the theatre fest for the artists below the age of 25 years is commencing on December 15 and it is the 16th edition of this much talked about event. Out of 186 entries this year, 6 plays, 6 platform performances and 7 fringe performances have been short-listed. Interestingly, one of the performance is a play titled Buddhon Ki Mauj, written and directed by Yash Chandrana and Animesh Sharma have been finalised as part of the festival.This group hails from capital city Gandhinagar!
The play is a situational comedy of four old men. The play takes a humorous turn on the old age and takes stupidity to new heights. With the gang comprising of a lecherous gambling man, a pious guy, a notoriously stupid and a temperamental one; these guys were bound to be in a mishap. Indeed a proud moment for Gujarat to have a talented young group performing at this much talked about fest which will be held at two venues i.e. Prithvi Theatre and Sitara studio in Mumbai.
