The theatre festival that will be going on for three days will stage the plays, ‘Lottery Ticket’ — story about a middle-class couple where the wife takes care of all the household arenas while the husband is obsessed with winning the jackpot and thus ends up buying a lottery ticket daily.The second play is ‘Saiyaan Bhaye Kotwal’ — a Traditional Tamashaa play rewritten in a contemporary way to suit the sensibilities of today’s younger generation. The third play is a Gujarati play ‘Mare Rashtragaan Vechvu Che. Bolo- ketla aapsho?’ talks about how the younger generation of thetare artists are not fully utilizing the power of theatre and plays, and lastly the fourth play which will be staged is ‘Dhrunad Kamle Aapghat Kare Che’ a satirical play on how technology and social media.
