Gujarati audience needs to support local plays: Mallika Sarabhai

While plays like Mughal-e-azam, Akoopar, Welcome Zindagi do well in Ahmedabad, not many local productions have not been able to do well. Unlike Mumbai, the financial backing for theatre is inadequate in Ahmedabad.
