Yami Gautam starrer 'Article 370' had a positive start at the box office and recorded a strong weekend collection of Rs 22.9 crore. After a good three-day collection, the film has been dipping at the box office on weekdays.
On Monday, 'Article 370' saw a drop of nearly 66 percent as it collected only Rs 3.25 crore and on Tuesday, the film added another Rs 3.3 crore to its kitty.
Early estimates for Wednesday suggest that 'Article 370' has witnessed a slight growth in collection and earned Rs 3.10 crore, reports sacnilk. With these estimates, 'Article 370' stands at a total collection of Rs 33.55 crore at the domestic box office.
Celebrating the success of the film, Yami shared on X, "When we were making 'Article 370', so many people told us that this film won't work with the audience ... . But we went ahead with our gut because we knew those naysayers were underestimating our audience. Thank you all for proving them absolutely wrong. Thank you so much for giving so much love to our small little film, with a big heart. We are humbled and will remain forever grateful to all of you. Dhanyawaad!"
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Aditya Dhar, ‘Article 370’ depicts the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
