‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ box-office collection Day 18

‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ earned Rs 1 crore (nett) on its third Monday taking its total collection to Rs 105.83 crore (nett), as reported by Boxofficeindia.com. The Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer had collected Rs 71.77 crore in its first week and Rs 26.56 crore in its second week.

This film marked the third project of super hit jodi of Varun and Alia after ‘Student Of The Year’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.The romance drama released ahead of the Holi weekend on March 10.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ had generated tremendous buzz ahead of its release, courtesy its chartbuster songs like the title track and ‘Tamma tamma again’. The film has gone beyond being a conventional romance drama and has addressed issues like dowry system and patriarchy. Varun and Alia have won praise from all quarters for their performances in the film.
