Akshay Kumar's horror comedy 'Bhooth Bangla' which opened to mixed reviews, has not let it come in the way of its box office performance. The film, which enjoyed a good first weekend at the box office; continued to perform well on the weekdays and register a strong Rs 100 crore debut, officially breaching the century mark at the worldwide box office within just five days. 'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection Day 5

The Priyadarshan-directed horror comedy minted in Rs 12.25 crore on its opening day in theaters. The film went on to rake in Rs 19 crore and Rs 23 crore on Day 2 and Day 3, respectively. It saw a drop in collections on its first Monday, earning just around Rs 6.75 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film that ran across 11,580 shows in India, collected Rs 7.65 crore net on its first Tuesday. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 86.21 crore and total India net collections to Rs 72.40 crore so far.

On the other hand, the overseas collection of Day 5 is Rs 2.50 crore, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 31.50 crore. With that, the worldwide gross collection of the film is now Rs 117.71 crore.
