The breakout film of 2025, directed by Aditya Dhar, that released on December 5 has broken all major records at the box office. Now, as it has comepleted Day 41 of theatrical running at the box office, it appears that the film is now giving the Prabhas starrer 'The Raja Saab' a run for its money. Notably, both the films feature Sanjay Dutt.

'Dhurandhar' box office collection

After showing some signs of slowing down at the ticket windows, 'Dhurandhar' saw good growth on Wednesday. As per early estimates on sacnilk.com, the film that saw collections in the Rs 2 crore range since Monday, once again hit the Rs 3 crore mark, in line with its sixth Friday haul. The film that had previously been raking in double-digit numbers for weeks, earned just around Rs 3.5 crore on its sixth Friday. The film witnessed good box office growth on Saturday and Sunday, earning Rs 5.75 crore and Rs 6.15 crore, respectively. However, on Monday, its numbers fell to Rs 2.35 crore and Rs 2.6 crore on Tuesday. With this, the film's week 6 total has hit an estimated Rs 23.35 crore at the box office.

While 'Dhurandhar' appeared to be slowing down at the box office following the release of 'The Raja Saab', starring actor Prabhas. However, after Wednesday's performance, the film looks like it has managed to maintain its grip. As per sacnilk, 'The Raja Saab', scored an estimated Rs 5.25 crore across all languages. It's highest collections came in from the Telugu sector, earning just around Rs 3.35 crore. In Hindi, the film only earned Rs 1.85 crore on Wednesday. 'Dhurandhar Part 2' set for March release

Alongside its phenomenal theatrical run, 'Dhurandhar' has also earned widespread critical acclaim, and has fans waiting for the anticipated sequel. 'Dhurandhar Part 2' will reportedly be the continuation of Part 1, and pick up where the story left off, as it was originally planned as a single-part film. However, before the release, the makers decided to split the film into 2 parts opting for the sequel to hit screens after three months. Ranveer Singh will now return as the leading man, alongside Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi when the film hits theatres on March 19, 2026.
