Shreyas Talpade’s debut directorial ‘Poster Boys’ started slowly at the box-office, later picking up speed over the course of the weekend. The film collected Rs 1.10 crore on Monday, reports BoxofficeIndia.com.
Also Read: Poster Boys Movie ReviewThe film opened to a collection of Rs 1.75 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 2.5 crore on Saturday and showed more growth on Sunday as it brought in Rs 3 crore.
The total collection stands at Rs 8.35 crore.
‘Poster Boys’ reunites Sunny and
Bobby Deol on screen after four years and is Shreyas Talpade's debut project as a director. It is a remake of
Marathi film ‘Poshter Boyz’, which released in 2014 and was produced by Shreyas.
The plot of the film revolves around the actors as they accidentally become the face of a vasectomy advertisement and all the drama that happens after it which affects their personal as well as social relationships. The story takes you on a joy ride as the actors try to get rid of their poster boys image and get their life back on track.
