Riteish Deshmukh's 'Raja Shivaji' has been receiving overwhelming love since its release in cinemas. The period drama is based on the life of Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and it was released in theatres in Marathi and Hindi. The film raked in over Rs 33 crore net in the first weekend at the theatres. However, it has witnessed a drop in its collection on the first weekday.

The Marathi version of 'Raja Shivaji' raked in Rs 8 crore on its opening day. On Day 2, the movie minted Rs 7.15 crore, while on Sunday, it collected Rs 7.75 crore at the box office. According to the Sacnilk report, on Day 4 (first Monday), the collections dropped. The film earned Rs 4.25 crore across 1,735 shows. With that, the total collection of its Marathi version has reached Rs 27.15 crore net.

This has pushed the total gross collection (Marathi and Hindi) to Rs 46.95 crore, while the total net collection now stands at Rs 39.50 crore.
