'Saiyaara' box office collection day 8: The Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda starrer sees a drop, records its LOWEST number ever since release, crosses India net of Rs 190 crore
'Saiyaara' is just making all the right noise at the box office ever since the film released last Friday. It has completed a week and just broken several records. Not to mention, the film continues to stand tall despite minor drop in numbers over the weekdays which was expected. As it now enters its second week, it has a good start in the morning shows on its second Friday.
Saiyaara Movie Review
The film starring Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda and directed by Mohit Suri made Rs 172.75 crore in one week. It remained in the Rs 20 crore numbers from Monday to Wednesday, but there was a drop on Sunday and it made Rs 19 crore which is still a good number. However, one expects the movie to see some growth on Friday, especially in the night shows due to holiday on Saturday. Moreover, there's no other major release today as 'Son Of Sardaar 2' release date has been pushed to August 1, along with 'Dhadak 2'. Thus, 'Saiyaara' may just be able to mint some good numbers even during this weekend. On day 8, which is the second Friday, the film has made Rs 17.50 crore as per early estimates and this is the lowest per day collection in the last eight days. Ttotal collection of the movie so far stands at Rs 190.25 crore according to Sacnilk.
According to Box Office Inda, in the Delhi/UP circuit, Saiyaara pulled off a stunning feat on Tuesday, raking in more than twice the collections of Chhaava. Even more impressively, it’s set to surpass the first Tuesday numbers of Pushpa 2 in the region—an achievement that speaks volumes.
