'Veere Di Wedding' box-office collection Day 5: Sonam K Ahuja-Kareena Kapoor Khan's film continues to hold strong

Shashanka Ghosh's multi-starrer film 'Veere Di Wedding' which stars the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam K Ahuja in pivotal roles has been keeping its grip tight at the box office and is continuing to do good business as compared to other films.
The multi-starrer film which revolves around the life of four friends has managed to collect Rs 5 crore on its first Tuesday, which has helped the film's total collection reach Rs 45.25 crore, according to a recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com.

The leading ladies of the film expressed their happiness over the film's success at box office. In an interview, Sonam and Kareena even called Anand (Ahuja) and Taimur (Ali Khan) their respective lucky charms. While speaking about the same Sonam said that she started dating Anand during 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and ever since then all her movies have performed well at the box office. Similarly, Kareena too felt that Taimur has proved to be her lucky charm.
Apart from the tale of friendship that keeps you on the edge of your seat, the film which also stars Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, has chartbuster songs like 'Tareefan', 'Pappi Le Loon' and 'Bhangra Ta Sajda'.
