After making a record collection at the box-office on the first day of its release, the
Hrithik Roshan and
Tiger Shroff starrer, ‘War’, has been keeping up with their winning streak.
War Movie Review : Lot of style, stunts and show, but lacks a solid storylineAccording to the latest reports in BoxofficeIndia.com, the film held firm on Friday as it recorded another Rs 20 crore nett plus. The reports also added that the collections of the film will be around Rs 21 to 21.50 crore nett which is a minor drop from yesterday.
All in all, the total collections of the film will be approximately Rs 95 crore nett plus.
The film is being helped by
Durga Puja in the East as circuits like West Bengal and Bihar are recording strong collections but that boost is negated by the average showing in Gujarat / Saurashtra due to
Navratri.
'War' released across 3800 plus screens in Hindi and was also released in English and Telugu. The film is expected to put up huge numbers on the weekend. The five day weekend also is a huge plus for the film and it is expected to stick on to the box-office till
Diwali.
Helmed by
Siddharth Anand, 'War' also features
Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Shot across seven countries, the plot of the film revolves around agent Khalid (played by Tiger Shroff) who is on a mission to hunt down his mentor Kabir (played by Hrithik Roshan). The film boasts of jaw-dropping action sequences choreographed by international stunt directors Paul Jennings and Jack Reacher.
