Amongst the most notable performances by actress Priyanka Chopra is in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. The Indian black comedy starring the Desi Girl is reportedly a reel adaptation of author Ruskin Bond’s Susanna’s Seven Husbands.
A little-known fact is about the film is that the renowned filmmaker had requested Ruskin Bond to elaborate his 4-page story of Susanna's Seven Husbands. The short story was later converted into an 80-page novella and later Bhardwaj co-wrote the script with Matthew Robbins and that was adapted into a film eventually!
The film not only received several critical acclaims but also garnered many accolades and awards.
