48 film and TV actors unite for ‘Jaan Hai Toh Jahaan’ amid lockdown

In an attempt to boost the morale of those affected by the lockdown, and to salute the non-stop efforts put in by medical teams and police personnel across the country in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, 48 film and television actors have come together for a special song. Bollywood actors such as Shawar Ali, Nidhi Subbaiah, Milind Gunaji, Hiten Tejwani and TV celebs including Samiksha Bhatnagar and Aditya Rajput have joined hands to launch a song titled ‘Jaan Hai Toh Jahaan Hai’.Conceived by director Rajiv S Ruia, produced by Deepak Ruia and supported by Gaurav Patel, Ravindra Ram Patil and Irshad Khan, the song is composed and sung by Vardan Singh, Tripty Sinha, Seema Mishra and Sulsa Sheth. Sahil Sultanpuri has penned the lyrics of the song.
All actors shot for the song from their homes. Some of the other names associated with the project include Upasana Singh, Madalsa Sharma, Karanuday Jenjani, Dev Sharma, Pankaj Berry, Hemant Pandey, Poorvi Jain, Rayo Bhaktayar, Rushad Rana, Aditya Singh Rajput and Natasha Janosek among others.
Director Rajiv S Ruia said he was excited about executing this motivational song for people who are stuck indoors due to the lockdown. He said, “When I conceived the idea, I immediately reached out to actors and friends in the industry. Everyone wholeheartedly agreed to be part of this video. They shot their lines from their respective homes, and we put it all together.”
Actor and model Shawar Ali added, “Everyone should maintain social distancing and stay safe at home with their families. This is probably the best time to share some quality moments with your loved ones.”
