A bold film requires bold promotions: Nasha film producer

A bold film requires bold promotions: Nasha film producer
Just a day after debutante Poonam Pandey stated that she put her foot down against the use of a “fake MMS” being “leaked” to promote Nasha, a clip featuring her bathing, generated quite a buzz on social networks. Predictably, she was upset with the developments.
Poonam said, “I’m upset that the MMS has been given out without my consent. I wasn’t convinced about this promotional idea, and so had vetoed it.

But I think there are other strategies to be used to keep the momentum going.”
The film’s producer Aditya Bhatia reasons, “Nasha is a bold film. Naturally, we have to retain the bold quotient in our promotions. I have cast Poonam Pandey for explicit content. That’s the image she has. We can’t be showing her as a Sati Savitri when she’s playing a bold role. And don’t forget, we have to deliver what Poonam’s fans expect.”
Further, he added that they had no agreement with the actress stating any dos and don’ts for promotion etc. “We don't have any clause in the contract stating we can’t use MMS or any specific concept for the film’s promotion. My director Amit Saxena and I are in agreement on the kind of promotion our film requires. We know what to show in the best interest of the film.”
Nasha, produced by Eagle Home Entertainment and One Line Cinema, releases July 26.
