A painting of You: Salman

If M F Husain can make and gift paintings to one-time muse Madhuri Dixit, why should not our Salman Khan do the same for lady love Katrina Kaif?
The story goes that just before leaving for the UK on a long shoot for London Dreams, Salman Khan had a dinner at home, to which was naturally invited the lovely Katrina. There, the actor reportedly surprised her with a painting that was gift-wrapped.Katrina, who has been the lucky recipient of paintings from Salman before and has them put up in her apartment, opened this one to find that it was of her!
As she gazed at it spellbound, Salman smiled at her lovingly and said, ���It���s you.��� A friend of the couple���s who was witness to the scene said, ���She was floored by the painting. It was such a beautiful portrait of her.���
A bashful Katrina, however, downplayed the incident when BT contacted her in New York. ���I have some paintings at home, but these are from other artists, I don���t know what this friend is talking about,��� she laughed.
Salman, meanwhile, will not talk about this painting nor the others in his vast collection at home. Most of them in his studio are reportedly of holy men. The actor, however, will hold a public exhibition of his works of art to raise funds for his Salman Khan Foundation sometime soon.
That���s when fans of the Bollywood hunk will get a chance to see the skills Salman has inherited from painter mother Salma. Not the Katrina Kaif portrait, however. You stand a better chance of acquiring da Vinci���s ���Mona Lisa��� than getting a peek at this one!
