Aamir Khan’s son,
Junaid Khan, is known for his grounded lifestyle despite his Bollywood lineage. He often opts for simple modes of transportation in Mumbai, such as auto rickshaws, which he has described as highly convenient. Recently, his Loveyapa co-star and comedian Aaditya Kulshreshth shared an interesting incident about Junaid's down-to-earth nature. According to Aaditya, after wrapping up a shoot in Mira Road, he inquired about Junaid's travel plans. To his surprise, Junaid suggested that they all travel together to Bandra by local train. When Aaditya questioned the unconventional choice, Junaid explained that taking the train was simply more practical.
Junaid later elaborated on this decision, stating that while the production team typically arranged a car for him, he chose the train that day due to a traffic jam caused by election vote counting on the highway. He emphasized that sitting in traffic for three hours didn’t make sense when the train was a faster alternative. Aaditya, amused by Junaid’s practical approach, joked about how unusual such behavior seemed in Bollywood, highlighting Junaid’s humility.
In a separate conversation with Farah Khan, Junaid was asked about his preference for traveling in auto rickshaws. He reiterated that it was purely for convenience. He acknowledged that his family owned several cars, and he could easily use one if needed, but he found rickshaws to be a more practical option. Farah, entertained by his modesty, humorously referred to him as a “true middle-class hero,” underscoring how Junaid’s simplicity sets him apart in an industry often associated with glamour.
Loveyapa, featuring Junaid Khan alongside Khushi Kapoor, was released on February 7, 2025. The film, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, is a Hindi remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today. Besides Junaid and Khushi, the movie stars Kiku Sharda,
Grusha Kapoor,
Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Devishi Mandan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, and Jason Tham, among others.
