Jiah Khan ‘s suicide: Aditya Pancholi relieved that Suraj not charged for murder

According to a report in Mid-Day, Bollywood’s bad man Aditya Pancholi is relieved that his son Suraj is not charged for the murder of starlet Jiah Khan, as claimed by Jiah’s mother.

Expressing his relief, Aditya told Mid-Day that though his son has been charged with abetment of suicide under section 306 of IPC, their legal team will fight it. He stressed in the report that at the time Jiah committed suicide his son was at a five-star hotel.
Further to reports in Mid-Day, Aditya’s wife Zarina Wahab also defended her son by saying that Suraj did not instigate Jiah to commit suicide. In fact she told the tabloid that he loved her and often cared about her.

According to a report in PTI, a week back the Mumbai police had filed a 447-page chargesheet last week in an Andheri court accusing Suraj of abetting Jiah's suicide on the basis of evidence gathered during the investigation, which did not indicate it was a case of murder. However, Jiah’s mother is set to move the Bombay High Court seeking direction to police to consider the material given by her which indicated she was murdered.
"There was no evidence to show that Jiah was killed. We have gone into the material given by her mother but have not found any evidence to support the theory that it was a case of murder," a top police officer told PTI.
The actress had committed suicide on June 3 rd last year by hanging herself at her Mumbai residence.
