Thakur’s upcoming crime thriller has been titled '

Gumraah

'. Based on true events, the crime thriller features Aditya in a double role for the very first time in two completely different avatars. Mrunal on the other hand will be seen playing a cop. This thriller film will showcase an intense face-off between Aditya and Mrunal. Aditya Roy Kapur has completed the first schedule of the film and will begin the second schedule today along with Mrunal Thakur kickstarts the second schedule in Mumbai. Ronit Roy will also be joining the shoot soon.

Announcing the film last year, Aditya had shared a picture on Instagram. "Thrilled to announce my next. ��" he wrote in the caption.


Helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar, 'Gumraah' is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

Apart from 'Gumraah', Aditya also has Kapil Verma's 'Om - The Battle Within' with Sanjana Sanghi. He will also be seen in the remake of British series 'The Night Manager'. Mrunal on the other hand was last seen in 'Jersey'. Apart from 'Gumrah', she has 'Aankh Micholi', 'Pippa' and Telugu film 'Sita Ramam' in the pipeline.
