After Delhi reception, Richa-Ali’s wedding celebrations to move to Lucknow before getting to Mumbai

After the sangeet ceremony on Thursday, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s wedding celebrations continued in Delhi on Friday, too. Around 300 guests comprising the couple’s friends and family attended the event. While the sangeet was all about letting loose, the reception was a quiet, elegant affair that went on for a little over three hours in the evening.
The menu included some of Delhi’s best street food like chaat and dahi bhalle.Richa wore a custom-made sari with the couple’s love story embroidered on it. “How they met, where they met, the films they have worked on was embroidered on it,” revealed a guest. Richa donned jewellery which was custom made for her by an ancestral Bikaneri jeweller, while Ali wore a regal sherwani.
Ali’s close friend, actor Satyajeet Dubey, was seen by his side at every function. The action will now move to Lucknow before they head to Mumbai for their wedding on October 3, which will be followed by a reception for Bollywood celebs.
