Akshay Kumar shoots for ‘Bachchan Pandey’ amid heavy rains in Mumbai

Heavy rains lashed Mumbai over the weekend but the downpour did not dampen the spirit of B-Town. Bollywood celebrities continued to stick to their shoot schedules in bio bubbles. Akshay Kumar started shooting for the final schedule of 'Bachchan Pandey' in Thane on Saturday and according to a news portal, he shot for his scenes without any hiccups. Directed by Farhad Samji, the team continues to shoot in a secure bio bubble.
‘Bachchan Pandey’ stars Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading ladies and the team had previously shot for the movie in Jaisalmer. Earlier this year, Akshay Kumar had unveiled the action entertainer’s release date with his edgy look from the movie. "His one look is enough! #BachchanPandey releasing on 26th January, 2022!" Akshay had penned along with a picture of him sporting a heavy beard and one blue eye gangster look. The film narrates the story of a gangster, Bachchan Pandey, who aspires to be an actor, while Kriti Sanon plays the role of a journalist and dreams of becoming a film director.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan is also expected to begin shooting for his movie. 'Tiger 3' shoot will reportedly go on floors today as the team is currently awaiting the crew’s RT-PCR results. Directed by Manish Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ will see Salman and Katrina Kaif reuniting for the silver screen.
