Alia Bhatt has subtly defended her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, against social media criticism labeling him a "womaniser", "mumma's boy" and "unsupportive husband." She showed her support by liking a post that countered these accusations, highlighting her efforts to address misconceptions about him.
The actress recently showed her support on social media by reacting to a post that defended her husband against the intense online criticism he has faced. The post mentioned, “Funny how jealous people always call him red flag, womaniser, mumma’s boy etc. but Ranbir Kapoor literally included his wife and daughter’s initials in his brand’s name. If this is red flag then I guess it’s better than every so called green flag on the internet."
This isn't the first time Alia has defended Ranbir online. Earlier, a video emerged showing Ranbir apparently ignoring Alia at Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary celebration. Alia responded by liking a video titled, 'The Ranbir Kapoor they don’t post about', which highlighted a more compassionate side of Ranbir, showing his affection for Alia and his helpfulness towards Randhir Kapoor.
Recently, Alia and Ranbir along with Vicky Kaushal celebrated Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birthday. Interestingly, the couple has collaborated with Bhansali for his next 'Love and War', which will also feature Vicky. Meanwhile, Alia will star in this spy thriller alongside Sharvari Wagh and is reportedly in talks with Nag Ashwin, the director of Kalki 2898 AD, on a project. Ranbir, on the other hand, will feature in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park.
