Ameesha Patel reacts to Anil Sharma’s post celebrating Gadar 2 success

As ‘Gadar 2’ continued with its glorious run at the box office, director Anil Sharma took to Twitter to celebrate the success. He thanked fan for showing love on the lead characters Tara Singh and Sakeena. S
Sharing a poster of the film which announced that ‘Gadar 2’ has collected over Rs 487 crore , Anil Sharma wrote, “Tara sakeena ka pyar .. sabse pyara .. sabke dil mein rahane wala ..an eternal love story continue to touch people’s heart . 4 th week Friday .. 5.20 cr .. thx for ur love audiences.” Reacting to the post, Ameesha tweeted, “So glad @Anilsharma_dir … yes .. TARA +SAKINA = GADAR !!! Ur thought related to this post is bang on!! Audiences love is great for TARA N SAKINA."

Recently, AmeeshaPatel ahd expressed dissatisfaction with her less screen time in 'Gadar 2'. She had stated that she will reject Gadar 2 if there are not many Tara and Sakeena moments. Reacting to the same, Anil Sharma had said that he doesn't know what will happen in Gadar 3 and that he respects Ameesha for her thoughts.
Speaking about the mammoth success of ‘Gadar 2’, Anil Sharma had shared, “ For making a film more than ideology you need to have sensitivity and sympathy. You need to ask yourself the real purpose you want to make a certain film. When I was planning Gadar 2, I had a lot of pressure because of the first Gadar. So, for me it was very important to bring the feel and nostalgia of Gadar in Gadar 2 and the story should move forward with the characters of Gadar 1 only and not just make a sequel with different characters, story, and name it Gadar 2. Hence, I thought of taking forward the story of Gadar 1 characters.”
