We are talking about Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. The world was treated to a rare sight at the premiere of Pink Panther 2, held in New York recently. Anil attended the premiere as a guest invited by his one-time rival, Amitabh.
Reveals a source from the industry, ���Amitabh and Anil were arch rivals in their hey days. Anil was riding high on success those days and people couldn ���t stop discussing how he had toppled Amitabh from the numero uno slot. Film magazines and newspapers had a great time asking both about who, according to them, was the number one actor. The press made comments like ���Anil getting into Amitabh���s shoes���. Amitabh as usual maintained his calm demeanour but Anil did not stay quiet on that one. He had said, ���Amitabh���s shoe size and my shoe size do not match; where is the question of getting into his shoes?���.���
But, according to our source, the coldvibes were strictly till the Pink Panther 2 premiere. The icebreakers between the two veteran actors are their children, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor. They are working together on Delhi-6 and that has changed the equation completely. Not only are Abhishek and Sonam buddies now, Amitabh and Anil too have put the past behind.
