Amitabh's Power'ful' new look

Move over Saif Ali Khan, Big B's grungy bearded look will soon be the talk of town. Raj Kumar Santoshi's mega project Power, which has Bachchan in many of its action sequences, will have him sporting this brand new look.
Bachchan landed up at the mahurat of the film on Wednesday, with his quintessential glasses off. This time, they were seen peering through his hair, as if carelessly placed there.
It did look like a refurbished Shahenshah avatar, only more cosmopolitan now with the added black-and-white scarf, which by the way, a lot of A-listers have been wearing recently, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Bachchan was last seen sporting a radically flamboyant look in Apoorva Lakhia's Ek Ajnabee. But surprisingly, Bachchan managed to carry off an unkept hairdo with silver streaks! Age has never seemed to be a hindrance for Big B, who manages to carry most of his experimental looks (and we say most with the exception of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom) with fantastic aplomb.
Paa was perhaps an important milestone in this regard. And now, Power.
Says Rajkumar Santoshi, "The film is all about the significance of power — the power of money, the power of truth." Sounds like we’ve heard this before, but one can hope for Bachchan's new look to redeem it.
We wonder if this look would go down well with his French beard loyalists but for now, salt-n-pepper's in.
