An ardent lady fan of Gurmeet Choudhary shows him largesse

While it’s common for fans to want photographs and autographs of their favourite stars, one of Gurmeet Choudhary’s fans is unique. An 83-year-old lady from Chandigarh has been following the actor’s journey from television to films and has a unique reason to meet him. We hear she’s got a life insurance policy of a big sum and has made Gurmeet her nominee. If that’s not enough, she is also said to have written a bungalow in his name! The relevant documents were reportedly sent to the actor.Uncomfortable with this, he got the policy closed and returned the property documents to her.

Apparently, the lady who lost her only son, considers the Khamoshiyan actor her son. She has been writing letters and sending cheques too, to try and convince him to accept the policy and the house. On his part, Gurmeet concedes that the bungalow is a very expensive gift. He says, “I met the lady and told her that I’ll rather take her blessings. That’s more valuable for me. While I appreciate the gesture, with all due respect to her, I explained that this shouldn’t be done. I’m lucky to be loved so much by my fans.”
