Anurag Basu penned an emotional note remembering Ajay Sharma, who had worked on the editing of his films like 'Jagga Jasoos' and 'Ludo'. Ajay Sharma, who was hospitalised due to COVID-19, passed away on May 4. Mourning his untimely demise, Anurag Basu wrote, “This is still difficult to accept. I barely have courage to write this. Ajay independently edited Jagga Jasoos, Ludo but he was associated with me since Life in a Metro, Barfii, Kites . He was my core team, my creative soundboard, my friend.”



“So many dreams and plans were ahead waiting for him. Making films will not be the same anymore. Good bye my friend,” added the filmmaker alongwith a collage of Ajay Sharma’s happy memories.

Ajay Sharma, who was working on the editing of Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Rashmi Rocket’, was in Delhi last week when he got infected with COVID. After hours of efforts, Taapsee and director Anubhav Sinha managed to arrange a bed for the editor at a hospital in the capital. Pranjal Khandhdiya, the producer of 'Rashmi Rocket', had earlier told
