Anurag's silent prayer for Sourabh

Having survived leukemia himself, Anurag Basu knows exactly what the families of the terminally ill go through.
Anurag's silent prayer for Sourabh
This is why the director has been busy the last few days, arranging a condolence meeting for the late filmmaker Sourabh Usha Narang, who died battling with stomach cancer earlier this week.
Anurag laments the loss of the talented Vaastu Shastra director; “He was able to make just one film. Something like this shakes your faith in good karma and bad karma.

What harm had Sourabh done to anyone? He was a good soul. Good things had just begun to happen to him. Do you know he was on the verge of signing a contract with UTV when he fell ill?”
Anurag, who is worried about Sourabh’s wife (an air-hostess) and their three-year old son, has now gathered all of Sourabh’s friends in the industry to come for a condolence meeting on Sunday evening at the ISKCON temple in Juhu.
Anurag adds, “Vishal Bhardwaj, Ketan Mehta, some of Sourabh’s other friends and I want to set aside an evening to remember a colleague who left us suddenly at the prime of his life. This can happen to any of us. I know. Because I’ve been there.”
