Anushka Sharma's parents encourage army kids, who are Bollywood aspirants

Amidst the news surrounding Anushka Sharma and beau Virat Kohli, we spotted the actress’ parents (retired army officer father Ajay Kumar Sharma and mother Ashima) making a quiet appearance at a movie screening on Wednesday evening. Interestingly, we found ourselves privy to the conversation they had with a young actress and her sister, who worked as an AD on Anushka’s next.

The young girls, who also hailed from an army background, were ecstatic to meet ‘Anushka ma’am’s’ parents and the couple reciprocated the affection too.From talking about Anushka fondly convincing her dad to shift base to Mumbai so that the family can stay together, to discussing the life of army kids in general, their humility and simplicity was worth admiring. When asked, the actress who spoke to them told us, “Everyone in the army knows everyone. They know my father. They were really sweet in spite of them meeting us for the first time.”
