With two highly appreciated films last year, viz the The Last Lear and Mithya, its now awards time at Planman Motions Pictures. While The Last Lear got the Best English Film at the Star Screen Awards, Mithya and The Last Lear together have got five nominations at the Stardust awards. With both being nominated for the Best Film Category too. The man behind it all, Prof Arindam Chaudhuri, could not have asked for more.
When we spoke to him, he was, however, more excited about his latest film Do Duni Char that went on the floors this week. It brings back to the silver screen after 26 years the most loved pair of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh! It was too exciting to be there on the sets and see the life that they still bring on camera. At a time when all production houses seems to be reeling under recession, Planman seems to be on a roll with awards as well as films!
Amitabh Bachchan was in Paris for a special screening, so he couldnt attend the awards ceremony, but he was very happy about it and celebrated the winning of the award in Paris itself.
