Arshad Warsi goes a shade darker

Unlike the original, Arshad Warsi has a much darker and tanned look in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ to make him appear raw and rugged.
A source revealed, "His makeup man would keep spraying an oil base spray to make him appear shiny and sweaty and also enhance the toasted effect. Plus mud would be dusted on him to give the dirty look. Even his attire would be rubbed on the ground before he wore it to appear it edgy.Since the film is crazier and much more sinister, thus it was decided to give that kind of look to Arshad."
Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to Ishqiya and also has Naseruddin Shah and Madhuri Dixit in the lead.
