Cannes 2022: R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ world premiere gets a huge welcome at the film festival

R Madhavan’s directorial debut ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ seems to have received a warm welcome at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The film is all set to premiere at the prestigious festival at the French Rivera and the seats are filling fast for its screening.

A source revealed, “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is one of the most looked forward to films at Cannes Film Festival this year.Even before the film has been screened, Rocketry has piqued everyone’s interest. It’s a special show that’s not been listed on the website but people are trying their best to get seats for this exclusive world premiere!”
‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ narrates the story of ISRO scientist and genius Nambi Narayanan. The film is written, produced and directed by R Madhavan, who is also playing the titular lead role. "I have watched the film. I was on the set most of the time looking at what was being shot and directed. The script was thoroughly discussed among ourselves. Madhavan did extremely well," the former aerospace engineer had told PTI. Shah Rukh Khan has shot for a special cameo in this entertainer. ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ was shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and English and it will be dubbed in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. It is slated for release on July 1, 2022.
