Chhaava movie review and release live updates: Vicky Kaushal and Laxman Utekar share a warm hug after the screening
'Chhaava' is a biopic on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and how he fought against the Mughals for Swarajya. The film sees Vicky Kaushal play the role of Sambhaji while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Yesubai in the movie. The film which releases today has already started getting rave reviews and many are calling it Vicky's best performance still. The film had also been under controversies as many had accused it for inauthentic representation as in the trailer one saw Sambhaji's character in a lazim dance with Yesubai. The makers have now removed this lazim dance sequence from the movie. The film is directed by Laxman Uttekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
