Chitrangada Singh files for divorce from Jyoti Randhawa

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh, known for her powerful performance in films 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', 'Desi Boyz', and 'Inkaar', has reportedly filed for divorce from her golfer husband Jyoti Singh Randhawa at a Gurgaon family court on Friday.
The couple has been married for 12 years and have a son named Zorawar.
According to a leading website, Chitrangada and Jyoti have filed for a divorce by mutual consent.Both have hired lawyers from Delhi and are trying their best to keep their divorce private and shield it away from public and media glare.
The couple arrived at court trying their best to avoid media. They were accompanied by their respective lawyers, close relatives and police personnel. According to media reports, the case was heard by Baljit Singh, District Judge of family court in Gurgaon.
The court has asked the couple to reconsider their decision. It has also fixing the next date of hearing for November 11.
The couple’s marriage hit a rocky patch with differences between the couple being speculated in the media in the recent past.
Both are famous in their respective fields. While Chitrangada made her debut in Bollywood with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003 that won her critical acclaim , Jyoti Singh Randhawa is one of the leading golfers of our country who was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009.
