Clash with 'Sultan' is suicide, say Salman Khan fans
Anyone who closely follows social media would know that there has always been a stern rivalry between the fans of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. They are constantly seen arguing while trying to prove their favourite actor as the best.
Last year, the rivalry went to an all time high when the makers of Salman's 'Sultan' and SRK's 'Raees' decided to release their respective films on the same day ' Eid 2016.

Hence, the battle lines were drawn in both the camps for the mother of all clashes.
'Raees' shifted to 2017, won't clash with 'Sultan'
However, recently, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the producers of 'Raees,' decided to postpone their film to January 26, 2017. It has been said that the decision is a consequence of the box-office failure of Shah Rukh's last film, 'Fan.' But the change of release date also means that the film will now clash with Ajay Devgn's 'Baadshaho' and most probably Hrithik Roshan's 'Kabil.'
Coming back to the main issue, Salman's fans have started trending #ClashWithSultanIsSuicide to celebrate a victory of sorts. While it is debatable whether this is a victory, the main winner will be decided on how both the films ('Sultan' and 'Raees') perform at the box office.
