Actor Allu Arjun has shared an enthusiastic review of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, applauding the film’s patriotic tone, performances and technical execution.

The Ranveer Singh-starrer, which comes soon after "Dhurandhar", releases in cinemas on Thursday. And more than 15 lakh tickets have already been sold. This includes the paid previews which begin from 5.30 pm on Wednesday.
"At PVR INOX, we have not seen this sort of advance booking even pre-COVID-19... The excitement is phenomenal, there’s no precedent. It looks like the film is going to take a massive opening. We are looking at a strong finish to March, and a strong start to April," Kamal Gianchandani, told PTI.
"I hope it breaks the record of ‘Dhurandhar’ one and hope it turns out to be the first film to cross Rs 1,000 crore nett box office in Hindi, besides, the contribution from dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. I hope that’s an addition to Rs 1,000 crore."

Fans opened up about their love for the first 'Dhurandhar' film and their high hopes for the sequel. Many came from far-off places like Andheri, hoping to make it a movie night to remember.
"I thought the show would start at 6 PM," one fan shared, "but then they told us it was delayed until 9 PM," he added, "But I think it's the team's fault. I will come tomorrow now"
Some fans were devastated. "I came all the way from Andheri for this movie," one disappointed moviegoer said. "I thought I would watch it for 4 hours, but now it's all ruined."
Many of the fans had been waiting for hours, some standing from 4 pm, and others arriving only to find the theatre packed with people, all of whom shared the same heartbreaking news: the 'Dhurandar 2' show was delayed.
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has made a solid start at the box office, registering strong numbers across domestic and international markets. The Ranveer Singh-led film has grossed Rs 75.00 crore worldwide so far, according to Sacnilk.
Out of this, the India gross stands at Rs 52.75 crore, while the overseas markets have contributed Rs 22.25 crore. In terms of net collections, the film has earned Rs 44.00 crore in India.
The film’s performance comes from a wide release across 12,292 shows, reflecting its massive scale and reach.

A similar cancellations were reported in Mumbai, where the 4:45 PM show at Galaxy Theatre and the 5:15 PM show at Gaiety Galaxy Cinema did not take place, leaving fans frustrated.
Reports also indicated that paid preview screenings in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were called off just hours before their scheduled start, although no official confirmation has come from the film's makers.

Visuals of hitting the head with a hammer, beheading and kicking, hitting the head with cement blocks, and smashing the eye were toned down. All English subtitles were fixed to match the dialogues, and inappropriate text was removed. Subtitle text was added for all songs throughout the film. An official permission letter to the CBFC was submitted for using Prime Minister references and news footage. Hindi text was added for various chapters. Demonetisation dates in subtitles were corrected. The main film title was inserted as per the official application. The word 'Lahore' was replaced with 'Delhi' in the information text. The entire script was corrected to align with visuals, dialogues, lyrics, and suggested changes. End credits length was cut by 1 minute. An Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) certificate was provided for animal visuals.
