Priyadarshan recently revisited old memories as he sent his best wishes to filmmaker
Aditya Dhar for his upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge.' Sharing a throwback image from their early days, the director reflected on Dhar’s journey and acknowledged his growth in the industry over the years.
Taking to social media, Priyadarshan kept his message simple yet meaningful as he wrote, “Best wishes, Dear Aditya Dhar, for 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge." The post, accompanied by an old photograph, highlighted the long-standing association between the two filmmakers and marked the occasion ahead of the film’s release.
Looking back at ‘Dhurandhar’ success
Earlier, following the response to 'Dhurandhar,' Priyadarshan had shared another picture with Dhar, expressing pride in his achievements. He wrote, "There is no greater happiness than watching my disciple rise with such remarkable success. Congratulations, Aditya Dhar, on 'Dhurandhar,' and heartfelt best wishes for ‘Dhurandhar 2.'"

Responding to the post, Aditya Dhar expressed his gratitude and respect for his mentor. He wrote, "My Dearest Priyan Sir... this means more to me than I can ever put into words!! You believed in me when I was a nobody, and when all I had was conviction and a few written pages."
He further added, "You treated me like an equal and gave me something far more precious than just work, dignity, trust, and love... In an industry where I often learned what not to do, you taught me exactly what to do, not just as a filmmaker, but as a human being."
From ‘Aakrosh’ and ‘Tezz’ to today
Recalling his early days, Dhar mentioned his work as a dialogue writer on films like ‘Aakrosh’ and 'Tezz,' acknowledging Priyadarshan’s influence throughout his journey. He concluded, "From writing dialogues for ‘Aakrosh’ and ‘Tezz’ to standing here today, every step carries your imprint. I will forever be your student first. Thank you for everything, Sir. This success is as much yours as it is mine."
