In discussing the casting choice, in an interview with IndiaToday, Ravi Jadhav expressed, "When the idea of creating a film on Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee was presented to me, Pankaj Tripathi was immediately suggested by the producers, and I wholeheartedly supported the decision.Both Atal Ji and Pankaj Tripathi, hailing from modest backgrounds to achieve remarkable success, share a profound connection with their homeland."
