Emraan Hashmi: I am done with the ‘serial kisser’ tag, I am letting it go now

Once upon a time, Emraan Hashmi was identified with the tag of being a ‘serial kisser’ in his films. While things have changed in Hindi cinema now, Emraan’s intimate moments on screen we’re always the talking point. In a candid conversation the actor reveals that he’s never liked the attention. He explains, “I am done with it. I am letting it go now, because I am just fed up of it.Kissing is fine. I don’t have an issue with kissing on screen, but it’s what happens after that. Everyone puts the spotlight on whether I have a kiss in a film or not. My producers have been guilty of using the kissing scenes for promotions of films, but I feel things are different today. Youngsters are okay with it. Call it a generation gap or anything, but I shut my ears on hearing half the things. It’s a culture shock for me! I fear for my son when he grows up (laughs!).”
Emraan’s next film, Why Cheat India, releases on January 18 as the actor hopes to highlight the many issues plaguing the educational system in India.
