Khan brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail, who, along with Sohail's son Nirvaan, had returned from Dubai on December 25, found themselves in a soup when an FIR was registered against them for allegedly violating COVID-19 protocols in Mumbai on Monday, January 4. The trio was directed to remain under quarantine at a hotel but they skipped the isolation period to go home.
ETimes has now learned that, after an FIR was filed, the brothers were sent to a five-star hotel for the rest of the quarantine period. “Arbaaz, Sohail, and his son have been sent to quarantine for seven days. A high-level inquiry has been initiated into the matter. After a gap of seven days, all three of them will have to undergo an RT-PCR test again,” informed a source close to the development.
During the time when they allegedly flouted quarantine rules, the trio also attended
Salman Khan's birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse. "Arbaaz and Sohail cancelled their institutional quarantine on December 26 and went straight for Salman's birthday celebration. There is a possibility that those who attended Salman's party will be asked to check themselves for symptoms," added the source.
According to ANI, the FIR was lodged by a medical officer of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), under Section 188 IPC under 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act.
