Exclusive photos: Is Deepika Padukone playing a John Denver fan in Shakun Batra's next?

Deepika Padukone, who has resumed the shoot of her upcoming project, Shakun Batra's next, was spotted by our cameramen, filming a scene with co-star Dhairya Karwa.
While on Saturday, the actress was all wrapped up in a shawl, today she sported a cool grey tank top inscribed with the lyrics, "Country Roads, Take Me Home". Is Deepika's character in the film, a fan of John Denver? The rest of the look, in keeping with the scene which was set against the backdrop of what looked like a vegetable market, comprised of a pair of off-white trousers and a huge tote bag.Interestingly, the actress is sporting a very different hairstyle in the film. Meanwhile, her co-star kept it simple with a printed, casual shirt. Check out the exclusive on-location photos here:




Apart from Deepika and Dhairya, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in pivotal roles, who were all shooting in Goa for the film's first schedule. Talking about Deepika's upcoming films, she has got a long list of interesting projects lined up. She will soon start shooting for 'Pathan' with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and recently announced that she will be collaborating with Hrithik Roshan for an action film titled 'Fighter'.
Apart from this, she also has the Hindi remake of 'The Intern', Nag Ashwin's next with Prabhas, and Kabir Khan's sports drama '83' with Ranveer Singh, which has been postponed due to the pandemic.
