All the fans of Akshay Kumar were in for a surprise when the actor today announced his next, titled, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ along with the first look of the actor from the film. Soon after the announcement of the film, reports were rife that Akshay Kumar will most likely be sharing screen space with the lovely Kriti Sanon.
However, when ETimes approached producer Sajid Nadiadwala about the same, he cleared the air surrounding the female lead of the film and said, “No actress has been roped yet for ‘Bachchan Pandey’.”
If Kriti Sanon would have starred in this film with Akshay, it would have been the actors’ second venture together after their upcoming film, ‘Housefull 4’.

However, now that the makers have clarified that no actress has been approached yet for the female lead, it remains to be seen who will be paired opposite the Khiladi Kumar in the film.
‘Bachchan Pandey’ will be directed by Farhad Samji, who is also helming ‘Housefull 4’. The film is aiming at Christmas release next year.
Today, taking to his social media handles, Akshay shared the first look poster of the film where he can be seen in his character.
