Exclusive: Vikrant Massey on his 14 Phere co-star Kriti Kharbanda

One of the films Vikrant Massey is looking forward to is 14 Phere that stars Kriti Kharbanda opposite him. The comedy film had the two of them bond well on sets. Talking about the bond the two shared as they shot for the first time together, Vikrant says, “She is a fantastic co-star and an actor. Kriti is a lovely girl to work with.”
Vikrant, who was seen last year opposite Deepika Padukone in Chhapaak further adds that a real chemistry between two actors only enhances their reel equation.He elaborates, “It really helps when you have a certain kind of rapport with your co-star and the two of you are feeding off each other. With Kriti as a co-star it was a great opportunity. Anywhere you go, a good partnership, fortified partnerships always work irrespective of what kind of work you do. And that was my experience with her. She helped me when I was not hitting the mark. It is always a collaborative effort after all.”
Post the Meghna Gulzar film in 2020, things changed for the actor who will also be seen in south star Vijay Sethupathi starrer action thriller Mumbaikar. About this change, Vikrant in an earlier chat with BT had said, “The world around me has definitely changed. Suddenly logon ko aisa lagne laga hai ki yaar yeh toh ab bada actor ban gaya hai. I started to see this change steadily post my projects like A Death In The Gunj (2017), Chhapaak and a web show that I did in between. Thanks to projects like these that people have started to take me a little seriously. I am getting interesting scripts now.”
